DMC Attorney Appointed to Chair ACBA Section

Thomas H. May, a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., was recently elected Chair of the Federal Court Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. The purpose of the section is to inform its members of developments in the field of federal civil and criminal ligation and to promote understanding between the federal bench and the bar.

Mr. May, an accomplished labor and employment law attorney, is Chair of the firm’s Employment and Labor Law Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of employment and labor law and civil rights.

During his 30-year career, Mr. May has recevied many honors, including being named in The Best Lawyers in America®. Additionally, he is AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and was named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® in 2004–2005 and 2009–2013 as one of the top attorneys in Pennsylvania.

After receiving his Criminology degree, magna cum laude, in 1974 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Mr. May graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1977 with his J.D.
