Dickie McCamey Expands and Grows

Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., a Pittsburgh-based law firm, expands to Cleveland, Ohio. To better serve its clients and solidify its presence in the Ohio region, Dickie McCamey is establishing its third office in the state. In addition to the new Cleveland office, Dickie McCamey has offices in Columbus and Steubenville. This marks the firm’s 11th office across six states.

Attorneys Paul J. Schumacher, Forrest A. Norman, and  Leah M. Hohenberger are launching the new office in the Key Tower, Suite 2820, 127 Public Square, in downtown Cleveland. UPDATE: As of 6/15/2016, the office relocated to 600 Superior Avenue East, Suite 2330, Cleveland, OH 44114. Mr. Schumacher, Mr. Norman, and Ms. Hohenberger bring a combined 60 years of litigation experience to the Dickie McCamey team. The Cleveland office will be able to provide a full spectrum of services to clients across Ohio in the areas of product liability, railroad, construction, employment, medical malpractice, transportation, commercial litigation, insurance, and food & beverage. Mr. Norman also offers a full range of services for churches.

Joseph L. Nelson is an associate and concentrates his practice in civil litigation, with particular emphases in general liability and medical malpractice.

Amanda Sifford Smiley is an associate and concentrates her practice in the area of workers’ compensation.

R. Leland Evans joins Dickie McCamey as a Shareholder.  Mr. Evans has defended a wide variety of personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits and regularly defends railroads in Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA) and public liability matters. Prior to becoming a shareholder at Dickie McCamey, Mr. Evans was a partner at Porter, Wright, Morris and Arthur where he was Chair of the Tort Litigation Practice Group and the Transportation and Logistics Practice Group.

Thomas E. O’Donnell joins Dickie McCamey as an associate. He received his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

William P. Bresnahan II is a principal and concentrates his practice in the areas of appellate practice, civil litigation, construction law, and municipal law, with a particular emphasis in real estate litigation.

Gene L. Jazwinski is a principal and concentrates his practice in the area of mineral law (oil & gas), with a particular emphasis in real estate. Mr. Jazwinski, as a licensed title insurance agent, also focuses his practice on commercial and residential real estate, having conducted transactions throughout the United States.

Martin R. Jernigan is an associate and concentrates his practice in the areas of civil law and medical malpractice, with a particular emphasis in workers’ compensation and employment law.

Michelle Baldwin Skeens is a principal of Dickie McCamey. She concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury litigation, transportation litigation, product liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, and appellate practice, with particular emphasis in the areas of civil and commercial litigation.
